MUFC beat the odds and Orange on their way to ESWC Paris
The ESWC East qualifiers have just come to a classic conclusion with an epic match between the two Malaysian giants MUFC and Orange. The end result was a 3:1 victory for MUFC giving them the spot to compete for the East at the ESWC finals starting in Paris on the 2nd November.
With 91.88% of the bids placed on Orange to take the victory, this is a somewhat surprising result and one which will please MUFC considering they are using a relatively new lineup. Another shock which has been seen by the community is the inclusion of Hyhy in the MUFC team, a month ago he announced his retirement and yet he is here competing at a prestigious event stepping in for Ling and making a considerable impact.
Some would argue that Orange however were playing with a handicap with the absence of mushi from their lineup and Ice being the stand in player for them.
Orange Line Up :
- Ng ‘yamateh’ Wei Poong
- Chua ‘ice’ Chee Cai
- Joel ‘xtinct’ Chan Zhan Leong
- Lee ‘xY’ Kong Yang
- Chan ‘winter’ Litt-Binn
- Chai ‘Mushi’ Yee Fung (didn’t play)
We wish the best of luck to MUFC in the final and hope they have successes there. The current DOTA lineup for MUFC is;
- Raymond ‘Sharky‘ Wong (Captain)
- Chong Xin ‘Ohaiyo‘ Khoo
- Kenneth ‘KeN‘ Lee
- Wai Pern ‘Net‘ Lim
- Woi Cheong ‘Ling’ Sim (didn’t play)
- Han Yong ‘hyhy‘ Benedict Lim (stand-in)
