It has been quiet around the Electronic Sports World Cup until now. The grand finals will be held during the Paris Games Week from November 1st to November 4th at Porte de Versailles at the French capital. It is sad news for the FPS fans out there, because Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike:Source aren’t in the this years ESWC.

It looks like that the company Nadeo has put alot of money into the tournament. The three titles Trackmania Nations, Shootmania and Trackmania 2: Canyon, have not really been named in the eSports scene. League Of Legends is not an official game, the reasoning for that could be the MLG Championship in Dallas, in which Starcraft 2 and League of Legends will be played.

Is there hope for the FPS scene? Besides the official games,  ESWC will feature additional tournaments during the Paris Games Week.
