Orange dominates WCG Malaysia, favorites MUFC disqualified after finishing second
After 3 days of exciting Dota 2 tournaments, Orange E-Sports has emerged as the overall both WCG Malaysia and Asia WCG winners. The will represent Malaysia at World Cyber Gamers: Grand Final later this year in China.  MUFC were automatically given the qualify slot to WCG Asia but the organizers had revoked it during the day. MUFC went to the Loser Brackets and managed to go into LB  finals, by beating SpaceMonkey, Invasion Red and Gizmo Gaming.
With 1 game in hand Orange E-Sports needed just 1 win to secure the WCG Malaysia, however MUFC got hold of the better side of Orange E-Sports to grab the 1st game of the finals to make it tie at 1-1. A 55 minutes match ended with spectacular fashion with Orange E-Sports won 2-1.

MUFC, who originally finished the finals in second place, have been disqualified retro-actively for using KEN as their fifth player. Due to KEN being from Singapore, this broke the rule of solely national players being allowed, thus disqualifying MUFC, and forfeiting the connected 2000 ringgit prize money – roughly 500 EUR. Gizmo Gaming and Space Monkeys were moved up from 3rd and 4th place to the 2nd and 3rd places.
