6.76c stomps on Centaur Warrunner

Nerfs to Centaur's new ulti, Stampede, amongst other changes in 6.76c

Just one day after our report on the and dominance in & 6.76b, IceFrog has released a new version of 6.76c with significant nerfs to Centaur Warrunner’s new ultimate, Stampede and Drow Rangers abilities.

A few further bug fixes were implemented to tag team made, the Centaur has been restricted from Captain’s Mode and lag issues were resolved. But let’s focus on the Centaur for now;

As we reported and according to .com, Centaur Warrunner is currently enjoying a 67.55% winrate, which happens to be the highest amongst all the heroes. It is to be expected that the changes to his ultimate will make it drop significantly.

The new Stampede’s changes in detail:

Centaur Warrunner’s Ultimate : Stampede as of 6.76c
“Grants you and all allied player units on the map max movement speed and zero unit collision for a short duration. Any enemy units you or your allies come into collision with take some damage and get stunned. Enemies can only be affected by stampede impact once.”

The rest of the 6.76c details are the following:

* Drow’s base armor decreased by 2
* Marksmanship focus AoE increased from 375 to 400
* Last Word manacost from 100 to 115
* Living Armor cooldown and duration decreased from from 20 to 15
* Living Armor manacost decreased 30/35/40/45 to 25

* Fixed an exploit with Enfeeble allowing it to be perma stuck on the enemy in some situations
* Fixed some lag when Centaur initially casts Stampede
* Centaur restricted from Captain’s Mode
* Fixed a couple of bugs with -TagTeam mode
* Fixed Force Staff shop hotkey
* Fixed various tooltips

With Centaur Warrunner now in the pool of heroes, we will have to see how he impacts the competitive scene in the near future.
