Our colleagues over at Absolute Legends have published an interview with the Taiwanese Team of Taipei Assassins. In the interview the Garena sponsored team talks about the best teams in Asia and on Global Level, about how useful a team house would be and about strategies being used on different continents (servers).

Team Manager Erica says, that in the US they consider Team SoloMid the strongest, in Europe it is Moscow Five and in Asia they consider Azubu Blaze the strongest. Even though many fans are suggesting that Taipei Assassins are strongest, they refer to World Elite and Azube Blaze, due to World Elite winning the Intel Extreme Masters in Guangzhou.

Taipei Assassins are mostly competing in the Garena Premier League, which is also their priority, as Garena has signed various teams all over Southeast Asia to attend their own in-house offline tournament. TPA’s aim is to receive worldwide recognition of the team and to participate in global tournaments, which they will do at the IPL 5 event held in Las Vegas, United States.

Being asked about the different strategies, Erica states that in Taiwan the hero ban is more for global heroes such as Shen, Twisted Fate, while on the NA servers it more about banning support heroes such as Alistar, Janna and Blitzcrank.
