This weekend an event has been taking place in the Philippines which should reach a finale later today. The Gigabyte Pacific Pro Circuit event has drawn massive popularity with teams from across the Philippines with 128 teams competing, showing the strength and popularity of the game in the country. The tournament, made possible by Gigabyte and Pacific eSports is a free event with a prize pool of 15,000 PHP up for grabs. Not bad for a weekends worth of work!

Prizes;
1st – 9,000 PHP
2nd – 4,000 PHP
3rd – 2,000 PHP.

The tournament finished at the quarter finals stage on the Saturday and will pick up from there going right through to the finals starting at 7PM local time today! Here is the brackets for the event so far with a brief summary of the teams in the quarter finals;
