Economic woe hits mousesports. The GD Show steps in to ensure SLTV Star Series appearance!
You shall go to the ball, cinder... mouseports!
The mousesports DotA 2 team were in trouble when their organization refused to stump up the costs to allow them to travel to the SLTV Star Series finals in Ukraine, however amid reports from the latest episode of The GD Show, the team will be parting company with mousesports and be attending the event down to funding received by The GD Studio and James ‘2GD’ Harding, the host of the show.
The travel costs thought to be approximately 2,000 Euros will be covered by The GD Studio and the team will be playing under a different name. Some could argue that this is a shrewd business investment if the team perform well at the event. The temporary name is still undecided but the snub shown by mousesports may make other DotA 2 teams and players think twice about joining their organization in the future.
